Prince of Darkness reflects on personal strategies of survival within unstable social and economic conditions. The title references John Carpenter’s film Prince of Darkness (1987), from which a still has been transferred onto fabric and woven into the quilt’s composition. Through the juxtaposition of cinematic imagery and hand-stitching, the work considers how popular culture, memory, and craft intertwine as means of endurance.Exhibited at Cadavre Exquisit, 2025, gr_und project space, Berlin.
